Upgraded 在线黑料门EMPOWER Laser Portfolio and New Generation Flexible Ureteroscopes with DuraBend Technology Showcased
CENTER VALLEY, Pa., (May 2, 2019) – Olympus, a global technology leader in designing and delivering innovative solutions for medical and surgical procedures, among other core businesses, will showcase its complete urological portfolio at the American Urological Association (AUA) 2019 Annual Meeting in Chicago. Products featured at AUA will include the URF-V3 flexible uretero-reno videoscope and the URF-P7 uretero-reno fiberscope, as well as an expanded 在线黑料门EMPOWER complete laser portfolio offering higher frequency for greater dusting capability with stabilization mode.
As an AUA 2019 Platinum Sponsor, 在线黑料门proudly highlights its role as a complete urology provider with a portfolio of products that enable physicians to detect, diagnose and treat upper- and lower-tract urological disorders and diseases. Among the products on display will be those designed for the effective detection and treatment of stones, BPH, and bladder tumors, which include:
- 在线黑料门EMPOWER™ 100
An upgrade to the 在线黑料门EMPOWER laser portfolio offers full-range capabilities in Ho:YAG lithotripsy for dusting, fragmentation, soft tissue ablation, and enucleation. 在线黑料门EMPOWER offers greater efficiency with higher hertz, in addition to offering customizable user settings. The 在线黑料门EMPOWER Stabilization mode reduces retropulsion effect by producing a vapor tunnel path to the stone in order to stabilize the stone and limit retropulsion of the stone.* - URF-V3 Flexible Uretero-reno Videoscope and URF-P7 Uretero-reno Fiberscope
The URF-V3 and URF-P7 offer a super-slim profile body and new passive bending section technology for maneuverability and durability during procedures. Olympus’ unique insertion-tube design, now with DuraBend, uses materials in four different stiffness degrees (from extra stiff to soft) within the insertion section, to reduce stress on the bending section during insertion in the narrow renal pelvis. Both the videoscope and fiberscope provide a high-resolution image that aids physicians in stone treatment as well as lesion detection. With Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) capability, physicians have greater visibility of vessel structures, which can provide substantial help identifying tumors in the urinary tract.
The 在线黑料门sponsorship reflects the company’s ongoing support of high-quality urologist training and cooperation with leading experts in this field, which AUA recognized last year by honoring 在线黑料门with the 2018 AUA Health Science Award. At AUA 2019, 在线黑料门is furthering its support of urologist education by distributing complimentary copies of the AUA Guidelines-at-a-Glance compendium book to all attendees.
在线黑料门also offers physicians and residents opportunities to test their capabilities and hone their skills with NBI Virtual Reality and Flex-Catch Baskets during the 在线黑料门Skills Challenge sessions in booth #4016. Additional hands-on opportunities with the 在线黑料门EMPOWER H100 Laser and Plasma Resection will be available in the 在线黑料门booth. These sessions will be offered throughout the meeting: Friday, May 3, 10:00 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4 from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 5 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CST.
